Keeping some amount of cash at home is normal with every household then why is cash kept at home not covered under the Householder’s Insurance Policy?

A Householder’s Insurance Policy does not provide coverage for the cash kept at home because a household is not expected to maintain proper cash records, as is the case with commercial establishments. Therefore, in the event of a claim, it becomes extremely difficult to prove the existence of cash at home. Therefore, insurance companies do not provide cover for cash kept in households.
