I am investing Rs 1,500 through SIPs in Reliance Media and Entertainment fund for the past two years. Should I continue investing this fund?

We hope this is in not your first investment and the only fund that you are investing in. This is a thematic fund that invests in stocks of companies engaged in the media and entertainment business. Over the past three years, this fund has posted 17.58 per cent annualised returns, compared to the benchmark Nifty Media’s 21.25 per cent. If you believe in the theme and are comfortable with the returns that the fund is earning; continue investing in this fund. However, remember that thematic funds are risky and depend a lot on the theme faring well.
