My house has a fencing to keep away stray animals. Is there any insurance which can protect my house against any claim by third parties?

Fencing to protect your house is understandable, but it could cause injury if not well secured. Perhaps, you are looking for insurance to address such issues. You can go in for a public liability insurance policy for non industrial risks whereby it is possible to cover residential premises. The policy provides for indemnity to the insured against their legal liability to pay compensation including claimant’s costs etc. anywhere in India. The indemnity however, applies to the claims that are arising out of accidents, occurring in the insured premises during the period of insurance that have been made in writing against the insured during the policy period.
