OLM 50: Thanks For Bringing It Back

I was missing the mutual funds buying guide since long, and I’m glad that you brought OLM 50 back. But it was disheartening to know that it was not there for seven years!

In addition to OLM 50, you also used to carry another feature in which the type of investors were categorised as: Beginner, Comfortable, Aggressive, and so on. In all, there were five such categories, with a few funds attached to each one of them. That was also a great guide. Please see if it can be brought back.

Moreover, in your article ‘Equity Will Rule The Next Decade’, you have mentioned in the box, that the number of schemes (from Mirae Asset) in OLM 50 is two, but three mentioned on page 19: Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund, Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund, and Mirae Asset Tax Saver Fund.

Retirement Planning

I wish to convey my heartiest congratulations on the editorial note in Outlook Money’s retirement planning issue which is really a boon for people like me, who are facing difficulty in making both ends meet on account of rising inflation.

It was really an eye-opener for all who are wage earners, since they are the most hard-pressed.

Your advice to Gen-Z is really a boon for them. I am myself a senior citizen, aged 76 years, and am a regular reader of your magazine for more than 30 years now.

My Lighthouse

I closely relate the journey of this unique personal finance magazine to my personal journey from an investor to a registered mutual fund distributor and financial consultant.

My association with Outlook Money (previously Intelligent Investor) is of more than two decades.

My qualifications in finance and keen interest in this domain was further enhanced by focused insights I came across in the magazine.
A lot of the learnings are my takeaways when I interact with individuals who have limited knowledge of key Dos & Don’ts, and become easy victims of mis-selling.

This magazine deserves credit for my decision to make the switch from a corporate job of three decades, much before my scheduled retirement.

Thank you for providing continuous learning and growth opportunities, which I eagerly extend to my client base of individual investors.

Digital Art

The story on NFT and young artists making money through digital art, Meet The NFTians was entertaining. Technology has opened the doors for artists to make money from across the world, and now Blockchain technology has added a new paradigm to it.
