Gurugram is one of the most sought-after destinations in Delhi NCR for homes in the mid segment (Rs 30 lakh-Rs 1 crore) and premium segment (above Rs 1 crore) category. For Q2 2023, over 4,197 new housing units were launched in the city. Other than new launches, the demand for 2BHK gained traction with 44 per cent of the total demand, followed by 3BHK and above with 29 per cent demand share. 2BHK edged ahead of the 3BHK in demand due to price appreciation and repo rate revisions as homebuyers switched from 3BHK to 2BHK homes. Price-wise, the demand for properties worth Rs 1 crore and above was around 44 per cent of the demand (online search). Properties worth Rs 3 crore and above saw a dip from last quarter. Builder floors and apartments were the most searched category in Q2 2023.
