This is the era of digitization and with this, there has been an emergence of a plethora of startups that are bringing innovation to the fore. For the creation and invention of new technologies and products that make the lives of humans easy and increase the productivity of businesses, there is a growing need for skilled engineers and developers. However, even in a vast country like India, which is among the top 10 fastest-growing economies in the world, finding skilled engineers is not a cakewalk for organizations and startups. As per reports and market studies, about 63% of Indian companies, particularly IT and Engineering solutions providing ones, are witnessing acute Talent Shortages, leading the government to focus on skill development. To address this growing issue, Mayank Pratap Singh, a former techie with years of experience along with Aditi Chaurasia, floated Supersourcing, a talent marketplace that helps emerging startups and enterprises in hiring remote engineers to work on their projects.
“Businesses, today, in the era of Digitization, can grow in a short span of time only when they are addressing an emerging problem through innovation and technology-driven approach,” this is what both Mayank Pratap Singh and Aditi Chaurasia believe in, and with the same belief, they incepted Supersourcing in the year 2020. The brand is an AI-driven marketplace that connects startups with engineers who are feeling to work remotely or on a particular project. Within a short span of time, they have emerged as a boon for thousands of engineers who have the requisite skills and talents by helping them get on board with brands looking for talented individuals. Unlike the other players in this ever-competitive cut-throat landscape, Supersourcing provides businesses with not just an engineer or a random developer, who would later be a burden for them in monetary terms but ensures that the Engineers registered on their platform are skilled and will be able to do justice to their responsibilities. For the same, Supersourcing verifies them after a thorough screening test based on certain quality parameters and after verifying their information through different sources.
Supersourcing has been successful in bringing a revolutionary change in the sector of talent outsourcing by utilizing cutting-edge technologies and by creating a web of talented individuals who have a zeal for innovation and creativity. By focusing on addressing an issue that is currently faced by the IT solution-providing companies, Supersourcing was successful in generating a buzz in the industry and for taking things to the next level, the management at Supersourcing decided to go for fundraising. It is out in the open that investors today look for ideas and a team that can implement those ideas on the ground and Supersourcing, under the able leadership of Mayank Pratap Singh and Aditi Chaurasia, had both, and riding on this, they successfully raised INR 1.5 Crores in a seed round, making it their very first fundraiser. The investors included names like Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Founder, PayTm), Dr. Ritesh Malik (Founder, Innov8 Coworking), Nikhil Sharma (Principal Consultant, Capco) and Ankush Agarwal (Founder & CEO, Tree Cap Consulting, Dubai).
Post proving their mettle in the realm of talent outsourcing and successfully raising funds, they kept on working aggressively towards their growth and expansion and this helped them in onboarding numerous clients, out of which, 28 of them are Unicorns, 32 YC-funded companies alongside big names like Amazon, Google, Zoom, and Stripe. After having created a strong client portfolio, Supersourcing decided to go for another round of fundraising, and recently they raised half a million. The new round of investors included KubeVC (a Venture Capital Firm based out of the United Arab Emirates that has 5 Unicorns in its portfolio), Nitin Sethi (Chief Digital Officer, Founding Leader of Adani Digital Labs), Nikhil Sharma (a previous investor based out the USA), Rajesh Gaur (Head of Investment Solutions, Zoe Financial), Saurabh Gupta (Senior Program Manager, Stripe), Arpit Bung (Technical Lead, Guidewire), Sandeep Acharya (Senior Manager IT Application, Pidilite Industries Limited), Jaykumar Raithatha (Solution Architect, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board), Phani Priya Raju (Angel Investor- HeadStart Network, LetsVenture) and Sapan Singhai (Business Analyst, Infosys, USA).
Undoubtedly, quality is something that organizations look for in an employee and Supersourcing is a hiring platform that believes in delivering the same. From verifying engineers to a hassle-free client interaction based on their requirements, they cater to everything, without compromising on the quality. As of now, they have helped more than 500 clients by hiring 15000+ quality remote engineers and developers from around 3000+ Talent Partners. Supersourcing, experiencing a growth rate of 20% a month, is emerging as the one-stop destination for startups and other businesses to recruit skilled remote engineers and developers based on their project’s requirements.
