Two weeks ago I opened a bank account with my Aadhaar. The bank personnel promised me the ATM-cum-Debit card within a week. I have not received the card yet and no email or sms update. What should I do?

Usually banks send the welcome kit within seven working days to the address of correspondence mentioned in your account opening application form. If you have not contacted the bank branch or the personnel; do so right away and verify if the correspondence address mentioned by you is the same as listed in the bank’s database.
Going by the dates you have mentioned, the chance of errors in entering your address seems high. Check with the branch manager immediately on the delay. Write an application before you visit the branch with all the necessary proof with account opening details and your communication address as well. There is a possibility that the courier with the debit card would have found your house locked and left it at the bank branch. But, do visit the bank branch immediately and contact the person who helped you open the account.
