I have a doubt – should I invest in a fund with a low NAV or high NAV?

The absolute value of the net asset value or the NAV of a fund should not be the driving criteria for you to invest. For instance, an older fund with a proven track record is likely to have a higher NAV than a younger fund. This does not make the younger fund a better choice. When investing in mutual funds check for the funds past performance, history and performance over both low and high points of the markets before betting on it.
