I have a monthly SIP in few funds since 2014, which I intend to continue. However, I want to know if a weekly SIP is better than monthly SIP?

As someone who has been investing in mutual funds through monthly SIPs, you would have experienced the advantages of regular and systematic investments. Investing through SIPs is a disciplined approach to regular investing and you should base the frequency of your SIP contributions on your convenience and cash flows. There is nothing to prove that a weekly SIP is better than a monthly or otherwise. Select your SIP option based on your investment time frame and convenience to invest. For instance for a three or four year horizon, a monthly SIP is just fine. Moreover, just the way you earn a monthly income, you should have a monthly investment plan, something that SIPs allow you to follow.
