I am 40-year-old diabetic. My wife is 37 and child seven years old. Can I take a family floater health policy?

If your concern is about you being diabetic being an impediment for you to get a health policy—worry not. You can get a health insurance policy if you are diabetic and you can get a floater policy for your family too. You will need to undergo medical tests arranged by the health insurance company, on the basis of which policy will be accepted with exclusion for diabetes. You may also be charged a higher premium because of your condition. There are policies exclusively for diabetics available these days, which you should consider taking individually for yourself, as the health risks associated with diabetes is high and can be difficult to cope with financially.
