My brother passed away recently and I do remember him having a life policy. However, I am unable to locate the policy documents. How can I find his policy details and file the claim?

To establish that your brother did have an active life insurance policy, you could search for the policy documents and also speak to his accountant, if he was using one to file his returns. You could also look up the bank statement to know which insurer your brother had a policy from to contact them to initiate a claim on the policy.
