• Xactly has chosen to significantly expand its Bengaluru office. Can you elaborate on the company's vision for growth in India?

[Xactly]

Xactly established its operations in Bengaluru over a decade ago, positioning the centre as a strategic hub for staff augmentation in the field of engineering. Recognizing its potential as a global innovation hub for Xactly, the Bengaluru centre quickly became instrumental not only for North America but also for international endeavours. Over the past five years, Xactly India has undergone an impressive growth of over 200%, and this upward trajectory is expected to continue in the coming years. Initially focusing on engineering, the centre has broadened its scope to encompass various departments such as product management, customer support, professional services, and finance. The Xactly India team has been instrumental in spearheading the creation of patented innovations and cutting-edge products. Furthermore, they have cemented their reputation by delivering unwavering 24x7 world-class customer support from the Bengaluru office.

• What specific factors led to the decision to make Bengaluru the hub for this expansion? How did you choose Bengaluru over other technology hubs such as Pune, Gurugram or Chennai?

[Xactly]

More than a decade ago, Xactly established its operations in India, setting up its base in Bengaluru, often referred to as the Silicon Valley of India due to its abundance of skilled engineering professionals. Over the years, Bengaluru's talent pool has experienced significant growth, driven by the establishment of numerous multinational company centres and the emergence of several Indian unicorns. This growth has transformed Bengaluru into a thriving tech innovation hub, going beyond just engineering augmentation. Xactly has been particularly successful in recruiting individuals who not only possess the necessary skills but also embody the company's C.A.R.E. values, which emphasise customer focus, accountability, respect, and excellence.

• How will this expansion contribute to Xactly's overall revenue growth strategy?

Xactly as an example of software and technology companies expanding in India is also emblematic of our customer base who are also realising the talent base in the area. We see more and more decision-makers also located in the region and it makes natural sense for Xactly to grow our presence there as well.

[Xactly]

• With this focus on the Indian market, how does Xactly plan to adapt its product offerings to cater to local needs, or will you just be using the India office as a back office?
Xactly is constantly listening to its customers' feedback and needs. Xactly’s expansion in India includes Engineering, Marketing, Finance, IT and Human Resources.
