Abhi Shetty is not a new name in the hospitality sector as he has marked his strong presence through his brand 'Barrels' which has taken over the nightlife industry in a big way. He says that he was always inclined towards the hospitality sector since the very beginning and in spite of being a mechanical engineer having worked in several corporate companies, he finally settled for a career in the hospitality industry as this was his true calling. He is happy to have taken this big decision of changing his career path as it has done wonders to his professional life as his brand has emerged as one of the best names in the industry.

According to Abhi, the nightlife space has the potential to draw huge numbers and one just has to offer the best in order to make it big, and that's what he has done via his ventures which have found their way to the top. After having a successful run in Dubai, UAE, the brand established its second branch in Manipal – 'Barrels India Club' in 2021, which has emerged as the only state of art club in the neighborhood and is doing exceedingly well. His Dubai outlet is the favourite hub of numerous expats and visitors who throng towards 'Barrels Dubai' as it has an appealing environment which sets the moods on fire. It has set Dubai's nightlife on a pedestal with its ever expanding popularity.

During the global pandemic, the hospitality sector suffered a heavy setback, but that didn't deter Abhi from going ahead and establishing a second outlet in Manipal despite all odds. Today, the Indian branch is also doing extraordinarily well, drawing huge crowds that visit the region. The Dubai outlet has also been featured in Timeout Dubai and has even won the best sports bar award in 2019. Abhi says that he wants to establish his brand across continents and is charting out a plan which will see 'Barrels' expand to many more locations.
