Despite major cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum making losses, the global crypto market rose 0.04 per cent to $1.03 trillion in the last 24 hours to 11 am IST on Thursday, coinmarket.com reported. However, the trading volume dipped 29 per cent to $38.88 billion in the same period.
STEPN (GMT) is the top trending crypto, but the top gainer was Synthetix (SNX), up 11.97 per cent to $2.94. The top loser was ssv.network (SSV), down 10.16 per cent to $39.65.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC dipped 0.15 per cent to $22,344. As last week, BTC continues to make losses.
Between 11.25 pm IST on March 3 and 3.55 am IST on March 4, the price of Bitcoin dipped from $22,440 to $22,264. The price has remained highly volatile since then. In the last 24 hours, the trading volume fell 29 per cent to 18 billion. The BTC dominance stood at 42 per cent.
Ethereum: ETH’s price dipped by 0.17 per cent to $1,570.38.
Following yesterday's decline, Ethereum extended its losses from last week. ETH entered the green for 30 minutes at 7.35 pm IST on March 3 and at 6.30 am IST on Saturday, but again dipped into the red. The price of ETH remained highly volatile.
The trading volume was down by 30.25 per cent to $6.6 billion. The ETH dominance stands at 18.7 per cent.
Other Altcoins
Solana (SOL) was up by 0.42 per cent to $21.28.
In the 24-hour trading, Ripple’s (XRP) price surged 2.56 per cent to $$0.3758, even as its trading volume dipped 18 per cent.
Cardano (ADA) was up by 1.34 per cent to $0.341. After a 36 per cent decrease, its 24-hour trading volume reached $241 million.
Binance (BNB) dipped 0.17 per cent to $290.41. Its 24-hour trading volume was up 27 per cent to $328 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin surged 0.87 per cent to $0.07657, and its 24-hour trading volume dipped 53 per cent.
Shiba Inu was down by 0.28 per cent to $0.00001134.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) dipped 2.46 per cent, whereas its 24-hour trading volume was down by 22.49 per cent.
Avalanche (AVAX) was up by 2.46 per cent to $16.71, and its 24-hour trading volume dipped 32 per cent.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a gain of 1.11 per cent at $76.70.
