Public network Radix Babylon is seeks to enhance cross-chain communication and asset exchange by integrating with LayerZero, Cointelegraph reported.
The collaboration between Radix, a layer-1 protocol and LayerZero, an interoperability protocol provider, is expected to facilitate the creation of a secure decentralized system to enhance user experience in Web3.0 ecosystem.
With the interoperability protocol, different dApps can work together and increase their features for users’ convenience, added Cointelegraph.
It is also expected to allow the addition of a decentralized finance protocol in a non-fungible token platform, Cointelegraph highlighted.
Trust Wallet To Compensate Users For Security Breach
Trust Wallet said it will compensate users following a security breach that led to a loss of around $170,000. Between November 14 and 23, a vulnerability affected wallet addresses, causing losses of around $170,000, it said.
Trust Wallet said it will pay back the lost funds to users. The company added that the “vulnerability has been patched” after the detection.
Trust Wallet said that it learned about the vulnerability through its bug bounty programme. In November 2022, a researcher reportedly discovered a Web Assembly flaw in Wallet Core, an open-source library.
The company stated that new wallet addresses issued "between November 14 and 23, 2022 by Browser Extension contained this vulnerability," noting that all addresses established prior to and following those dates are secure.
