E-commerce platform Blinkit has introduced an equated monthly instalment (EMI) option for orders over Rs 2,999. This change aims to give clients a more practical way to make high-value transactions.
Blinkit founder Albinder Dhindsa said on X, "We have implemented purchase with EMI on Blinkit! EMI alternatives will be available for all orders above Rs 2,999 (excluding orders containing gold and silver coins). This would increase affordability and allow our clients to organize their finances more effectively."
Customers must select the products in the cart and ensure the payment exceeds Rs 2,999 to avail of the EMI option. At checkout, find the EMI option and select it. Also, the bill must be paid in full when placing the order, and the bank will process the EMI within 3-5 days.

Processing Fees For The EMI Plan
Credit card EMI options are available for customers with HDFC Bank, SBI Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, RBL Bank, and CITI Bank. The EMI starts at 16 per cent per annum with a processing fee of Rs 199.
The ICICI Bank EMI charges start at 15.99 per cent per annum with a processing fee of Rs 199. Kotak Mahindra Bank EMI starts at 16 per cent per annum with a processing fee of Rs 199.
