The global crypto market fell 2.18 per cent to $1.16 trillion in the last 24 hours to 10 am IST on Monday, and the trading volume was $33.81 billion, an increase of 12.99 per cent. 

The DeFi segment accounted for 10.78 per cent of the total trading volume globally in the last 24 hours, Coinmarketcap.com reported. 

Arbitrum ARB was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was priced at $1.18, down 5.21 per cent over the last day. Stacks STX was the top gainer, with a 2.24 per cent increase to $0.891. Its 24-hour trading volume was $155 million.

Conversely, Basic Attention Token BAT was the top loser, down 8.56 per cent to $0.2609. Its 24-hour trading volume was $6.3 million.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin decreased by 2.55 per cent to $27,714.12. Its 24-hour trading volume was $13.4 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap, the same as yesterday. Its dominance at 10 am IST was 46.26 per cent, a decrease of 0.11 per cent over the previous day.

Ethereum: The price of Ethereum was down by 2.07 per cent to $1,778.94.It stepped in green in the last one hour with an increase of 0.23 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $6.5 billion.

Tether: Tether's price decreased by 0.01 per cent in the last 24 hours. It traded at $1.00, with a 24-hour trading volume of $22.9 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap. 

Other Altcoins

Solana’s (SOL) price decreased by 4.36 per cent to $20.08 in the last 24 hours.

Avalanche was trading at $16.97, down by 4.24 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume stood at $136 million.

Cardano (ADA) was down by 1.25 per cent. It is ranked seventh, with a 24-hour trading volume of $279 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down 7.92 per cent with a 24-hour trading volume of $745 million.

Shiba Inu was down by 5.83 per cent to $0.00001072; however, it stepped into green in the last hour with a 0.41 per cent increase. 

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

DeFi was trading at $3.64 billion, 10.78 per cent of the total crypto market 24-hour volume.

Yearn.finance was down by 4.51 per cent to $8,385.74 in the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour market cap was $274 million.
