Crypto Prices Today: Market Set to Drop Below $1T, Bitcoin Up 0.22%, Ethereum Dips 0.85%

The global cryptocurrency market extended its losses from the previous week, as it dropped 0.23 per cent on the morning of February 13, 2023, and is on the verge of losing the $1 trillion mark.

The global crypto market sentiment on February 13, 2023, was bearish. Bitcoin (BTC), Binance (BNB), Dogecoin (DOGE) gained in value, while Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Aave (AAVE) fell.

According to Coinmarketcap.com, at 11.00 am IST, the global cryptocurrency market capitalisation stood at $1.01 trillion, a decrease of 0.23 per cent over the previous day. 

Over the past 24 hours, the total crypto market volume had increased by 27.39 per cent to $42.43 billion.

The top trending crypto was PancakeSwap (CAKE), but the top gainer for the second consecutive day was Zilliqa (ZIL), up by 14.24 per cent to $0.03196, while the top loser was Hedera (HBAR), down by 9.96 per cent to $0.08438.
 
Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: There was a 0.22 per cent rise in the price of Bitcoin to $21,849.40. BTC had been showing consistent spikes, but around 3.20 am IST on February 13, 2023, its price plummeted.

In half an hour, prices dipped from $21,816 to $21,682, before gradually recovering. The lowest price for BTC was $21,677. BTC’s trading volume was up by 26.80 per cent to $19.35 billion.

Ethereum: ETH’s price dipped by 0.85 per cent to $$1,520.57 in the last 24 hours on Monday morning. Ethereum gradually recovered from its previous losses, but fell rapidly around 3.00 am IST on February 13, 2023, from $1,536 to $1,501, within an hour.

Its trading volume levels surged from $4.74 billion to $4.92 billion. The lowest price for ETH was $1,504. ETH’s trading volume was up by 28.56 per cent to $6.17 billion.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was down by 1.97 per cent to $0.3743.

In the 24-hour trading, Ripple’s (XRP’s) price fell 1.97 per cent to $0.3743, while its trading volume skyrocketed by 79.24 per cent.

Cardano (ADA) was down by 1.13 per cent to $0.3627. After a 37.29 per cent increase, its 24-hour trading volume reached $277.42 million.

Binance (BNB) surged 2.42 per cent to $314.40. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 84.23 per cent to $$611.98 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin gained 2.66 per cent to $0.08403. Its 24-hour trading volume shot up a whopping 209.94 per cent.

Shiba Inu was up by 0.35 per cent to $0.00001292.

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 2.61 per cent, even though its 24-hour trading volume rose by 23.47 per cent.

Avalanche (AVAX) fell 1.68 per cent to $17.58 and its 24-hour trading volume increased 60.38 per cent.

Aave (AAVE) was trading with a loss of 2.96 per cent at $76.85.
