The global crypto market cap stood at $808.07 billion, which was up by 0.19 per cent, even as the total crypto market volume decreased by 0.96 per cent to $21.86 billion in the last 24 hours, according to data collected from Coinmarketcap.com at 5:10 pm IST.
Today’s top gainer was Solana. It was up by 8.98 per cent, while the top loser was Toncoin (TON), which was trading at $2.17, having fallen by 6.13 per cent in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday evening.

Bitcoin: BTC gained 0.12 per cent to $16,743.87 in the last 24 hours. Its market cap stood at $322.34 billion. BTC’s trade was highly volatile today, touching $16,670, its lowest price for the day. Its trading volume increased 1.64 per cent to $11.51 billion. BTC was second in the list of trending cryptos today.
Ethereum: The price of Ethereum was up by 0.06 per cent to $1,215.83 in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday evening. ETH’s market cap stood at $148.79 billion. Its trading volume decreased 12.38 per cent to $3.02 billion. ETH’s dominance was 18.4 per cent today.
Other Altcoins: Solana’s (SOL) price rose by 8.98 per cent to $11.95 on January 3, 2023.
Ripple (XRP) was up by 0.59 per cent to $0.3455, and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 8.28 per cent to $925.51 million.
Cardano (ADA) fell by 0.05 per cent to $0.2539. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume decreased by 7.74 per cent to $137.83 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 0.24 per cent to $0.07158. Its 24-hour trading volume fell 25.67 per cent to $260.48 million.

Yearn.Finance (YFI) gained 3.73 per cent to $5,416.27. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 50.38 per cent to $18.38 million.
Avalanche (AVAX) gained 1.38 per cent to $11.30, and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 3.90 per cent to $125.48 million.
Aave (AAVE) fell 0.72 per cent to $53.01, and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 4.18 per cent to $34.09 million.
