Crypto Prices Today: Global Crypto Market Jumps 4%, Lifted by Bitcoin Rally

The global crypto market surged 4.03 per cent to $1.28 trillion in the last 24 hours to Friday afternoon, and the trading volume rose by 29.97 per cent or $58.72 billion.

Arbitrum (ARB) traded at $1.52, up 23.15 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2 billion. Quant (QNT) was the top loser, down 2.30 per cent to $119.55. Its volume was $144 million.

DeFi accounted for 7.96 per cent or $4.68 billion of the crypto market’s total trading volume, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin increased by 2.36 per cent to $30,799.52. Its 24-hour trading volume was $21.68 billion. It is ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Its dominance at 1 pm IST stood at 46.42 per cent, an increase of 7.96 per cent over the previous day.

Ethereum: The price of Ethereum was up by 9.56 per cent to $2,109.14. Its 24-hour trading volume is $16.6 billion.

Tether: Tether increased by 0.02 per cent in the last 24 hours. It traded at $1.00, with a trading volume of $40 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana’s (SOL) price increased by 3.82 per cent to $24.96 in the last 24 hours.

Avalanche traded at $19.03, up 92.88 per cent, and its trading volume was $265 million.

Cardano (ADA) rose 8.61 per cent. It is ranked seventh, with a 24-hour trading volume of $719 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up 7.77 per cent with a 24-hour trading volume of $1.1 billion.

Shiba Inu was up by 3.22 per cent to $0.00001131.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi trading volume was $4.68 billion, or 7.96 per cent of the market’s total trading volume.

Yearn.finance rose 2.85 per cent to $9,282.45; its 24-hour market cap was $304 million.
