A bearish trend prevailed on the crypto market on February 10, 2023. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance (BNB), Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE) and Aave (AAVE) all traded in losses.
According to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 11.00 am IST, the overall market dropped 3.69 per cent to $1.02 trillion. A total of $74.11 billion have been traded in crypto over the last 24 hours, a 15.63 per cent increase.
The top trending crypto was Gifto (GFT), but the top gainer for the second consecutive day was Rocket Pool (RPL), up by 5.34 per cent to $49.69, while the top loser was Render Token (RNDR), down by 13.33 per cent to $1.45.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: There was a 3.46 per cent drop in Bitcoin to $21,801.14. BTC had been gradually recovering from yesterday’s losses, but around 12.05 am IST on February 10, 2023, the price plummeted further.
In half an hour, prices dipped from $22,563 to $22,051. The lowest price for BTC was $21,773.97. BTC’s trading volume was up by 6.32 per cent to $30.39 billion.
Ethereum: ETH’s price dipped by 5.16 per cent to $1,545.10 in the last 24 hours on Friday morning. The price of Ethereum fell rapidly around 11.55 pm on February 9, 2023, from $1,627 to $1,573 within two hours.
Its trading volume levels surged from $7.83 billion to $8.39 billion. The lowest price for ETH was $$1,535.94. ETH’s trading volume was up by 12.71 per cent to $9.76 billion.
Other Altcoins
Solana (SOL) was down by 8.51 percent to $$20.78. In the 24-hour trading, Ripple's (XRP) price fell 2.31 per cent to $0.3837, while its trading volume skyrocketed 62.40 per cent.
Cardano (ADA) was down 6.98 per cent to $$0.3582. After an 18.73 per cent increase its 24-hour trading volume reached $463.18 million.
Binance (BNB) declined 4.76 per cent to $305.24. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 8.23 per cent to $681.96 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin showed growth despite a losing market, but today it fell 6.89 per cent to $0.08168. Its 24-hour trading volume was up 19.22 per cent to $707.96 million.
Shiba Inu was down by 7.53 per cent to $0.00001227.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell by 7.58 per cent even though its 24-hour trading volume rose by 15.41 per cent.
Avalanche (AVAX) fell 9.13 per cent to $17.74 and its 24-hour trading volume increased 12.11 per cent.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a loss of 5.97 per cent at $77.94.
