A bearish trend continued in the crypto market on February 11, 2023. Losses in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) moved the market towards the red. However a number of altcoins also gained, including Binance (BNB), Dogecoin (DOGE) and AAVE (AAVE).
The global crypto market cap was at $1.01 trillion at 11.00 am IST, a decrease of 0.21 per cent over the previous day, according to Coinmarketcap.com.
During the last 24 hours, the total crypto market volume was at $52.26 billion, down by 29.86 per cent.
Despite Fetch.ai (FET) being the top trending coin for the day, Mina (MIN) was the top gainer, up by 22.58 per cent to $0.9008. The top loser was Frax Share (FXS), down by 14.50 per cent to $10.27.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: There was a 0.66 per cent drop in Bitcoin’s price to $21,693.95. Despite gradually recovering from yesterday’s losses, Bitcoin’s price moved into the red again around 4.45 am IST on February 11, 2023. The prices remained highly volatile since then.
The lowest price for BTC was $21,539.39. BTC’s trading volume was down by 16.32 per cent to $25.409 billion.
Ethereum: ETH’s price dipped by 1.46 per cent to $1,519.80 in the last 24 hours on Saturday morning. The price of Ethereum fell rapidly around 9 pm on February 10, 2023, from $1,542 to $1,521 within half an hour.
Its trading volume levels surged from $10.05 billion to $10.33 billion. The lowest price for ETH was $1,504.83. ETH’s trading volume was down by 19.22 per cent to $7.80 billion.
Other Altcoins
Solana (SOL) was down by 1.37 per cent to $20.36.
Ripple’s price rose 0.18 per cent to $0.383, while its trading volume plummeted 45.80 per cent in the 24-hour trading period.
Cardano (ADA) was up by 1.02 per cent to $0.3607. After a 13.41 per cent dip, its 24-hour trading volume reached $319.87 million.
Binance (BNB) surged 0.82 per cent to $307.40. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 31.36 per cent to $460.269 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin gained 0.39 per cent to $0.08179. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 35.47 per cent to $458.74 million.
Shiba Inu was up by 3.72 per cent to $0.00001271.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) gained 1.12 per cent to $7,061.01 and its 24-hour trading volume dipped by 48.28 per cent.
Avalanche (AVAX) rose 1.02 per cent to $17.83 and its 24-hour trading volume dipped 36.30 per cent.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a rise of 1.59 per cent at $78.46.
