The cryptocurrency market traded in the green on Saturday evening, lifted by gains in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and other cryptos.
The crypto market cap rose about 1.43 per cent to $822.98 billion and its trading volume was down by 6.24 per cent to $25.84 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 6:45 pm.
Today’s top gainer was Lido DAO (LDO); it was up 17.90 per cent whereas the top loser was Neutrino USD (USDN), which was trading at $0.4303 with a loss of 5.57 per cent in the last 24 hours to Saturday evening.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC rose 1.13 per cent to $16.928.65. Its highest intraday trading price was $16,991, while its volume was down by 13.31 per cent at $12,436,321,489.
BTC was trading in gains throughout the day and its dominance was 39.6 per cent in last 24 hours..
Ethereum: Ethereum’s price rose 1.71 per cent to $1,264.50 in the last 24 hours to Saturday evening.
ETH too was trading only in gains in January 7, 2022 and $1,272 was its highest price for the day.
ETH’s trading volume hiked by 13.23 per cent at $4,273,717,464.
Other Altcoins: Solana’s (SOL) price hiked by 3.34 per cent at $13.23 today.
Ripple (XRP) was up by 2.59 per cent at $0.3433 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 27.88 per cent at $496,785,498.
Cardano (ADA) was up by 1.60 per cent to $0.2735. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was down by 9.28 per cent to $235,602,521.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin rose 1.72 per cent at $0.07209. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 27.12 per cent at $233.4 million.
Shiba Inu was up by 2.46 per cent to $0.00008444.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) rose 3.27 per cent to $5,534. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 25.55 per cent at $17.67 million.
Avalanche (AVAX) was up by 2.75 per cent at $11.74 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 2.93 per cent at $25.64 million.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a gain of 2.42 per cent at $56.07 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 2.28 per cent at $37.01 million.
