The crypto market was trading in the red on Tuesday evening. Popular cryptos like Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), and Dogecoin (DOGE) saw losses. However, Ethereum (ETH) was trading in the green.
The crypto market cap fell about 0.07 per cent to $851.72 billion and its trading volume was up by 2.51 per cent to $38.70 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 6:10 pm.
Today’s top gainer was Aptos (APT); it was up 32.16 per cent at $5.48. The top loser was Zilliqa (ZIL), which was trading at $0.2393 with a loss of 5.98 per cent in the last 24 hours to Tuesday evening.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC fell 0.09 per cent to $17,243.39. BTC was trading with loss for most of the day on January 10. However, around 2:00 pm, BTC experienced a sudden upward momentum, which lifted its price from the lows of $17,171 to as high as $17,274. However, BTC’s trading volume was up by a marginal difference. BTC’s trading volume was up by 4.96 per cent at $15,825,458,651.
Ethereum: Ethereum’s (ETH) price rose 0.51 per cent to $1,326.21 in the last 24 hours to Tuesday evening. ETH was trading with gains for most of the day; however, it dipped down thrice for a really short time period. ETH’s dominance today was 19.1 per cent. The lowest price for ETH was $1,318. ETH’s trading volume was down by 10.28 per cent at $6,078,948,024.

Solana’s (SOL) price dropped by 2.44 per cent at $15.94 today.
Ripple (XRP) was down by 1.38 per cent at $0.3479 and its 24-hour trading volume was $1.08billion.
Cardano (ADA) was down by 2.8 per cent to $0.315. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was down by 35.40 per cent to $548.9 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin fell 2.0 per cent at $0.07608. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 19.66 per cent at $710,667,996.
Shiba Inu was up by 4.00 per cent to $0.000009254.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) was dropped by 2.44 per cent to $5,703.01. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 10.60 per cent at $26,496,842.
Avalanche (AVAX) was down by 0.44 per cent at $12.41 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 19.72 per cent at $224,447,512.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a loss of 1.45 per cent at $61.14 and its 24-hour trading volume was at $72.81 million.
