On February 3, the crypto market traded in red, although some altcoins were up trading with gains. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance (BNB) all were all down trading with losses, while Aave (AAVE), and others were trading with gains.
The crypto market cap fell about 0.96 per cent to $1.08 trillion and its trading volume was down by 4.63 per cent to $60.27 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 12.00 am.
Today’s top gainer was EthereumPoW (ETHW); it was up 18.73 per cent at $4.68. The top loser was dYdX (DYDX), which was trading at $3.24 with a loss of 9.22 per cent in the last 24 hours to Friday morning.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC fell 0.90 per cent to $23,536.62.
BTC’s trade on February 3 was highly volatile with its price trading in a narrow and confined range between $23,439.83 to $24,091.54. However around 2.40am, BTC experienced a sudden downfall in price and it slumped from the high of $23,799 to low of $23,499. Since then, prices have risen and fallen rapidly.
The lowest price for BTC was $23,439.83. BTC’s trading volume was down by 5.54 per cent at $28,894,724,866.
Ethereum: Ethereum’s (ETH) price fell 1.32 per cent to $1,642 in the last 24 hours to Friday morning.
ETH was also experiencing a volatile trade same as BTC. Around 3.00 am on February 3 prices fell rapidly. ETH’s price jumped from $1,664 to $1,334 within a span of 5 hours. Its trading volume levels slumped from 10.37 billion to 9.39 billion.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,634.22. ETH’s trading volume was down by 8.20 per cent at $9,138,559,017.
Other Altcoins: Solana’s (SOL) price was down by 1.68 per cent at $24.43 today.
Ripple (XRP) was down by 0.44 per cent at $0.41 and its 24-hour trading volume was around $909 million.
Cardano (ADA) was down by 0.18 per cent to $0.40. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was down by 22.21 per cent to $456,703,085.
Binance (BNB) was down by 2.09 per cent to $323.18. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 18.88 per cent at $718,832,227.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin fell 1.51% per cent at $0.09187. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 35.82 per cent at $661,433,573.
Shiba Inu was down by 3.21% per cent to $0.00001243.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) was down by 0.02 per cent to $7,699.17. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 19.31 per cent at $46,835,990.
Avalanche (AVAX) was down by 3.41% per cent at $21.15 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 6.31 per cent at $725,351,547.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a gain of 3.22 per cent at $88.59 and its 24-hour trading volume was at $125.19 million.
