Gurugram remains one of the top destinations in the Delhi-National Capital Region for homebuyers in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2022. From 3BHK units in verdant green surroundings to small flex rooms near the corporate offices, the city has it all. It has been a favourite for mid- and premium-segment homes with a price tag of Rs 30 lakh-Rs 100 lakh and above Rs 1 crore. The city launched over 3,700 new housing units in Q4. Dwarka Expressway and New Gurgaon regions drew huge interest due to excellent connectivity via the southern peripheral and Golf Course Extension roads. 2BHKunits comprised 44 per cent of the total demand share, followed by 3BHK and above at 37 per cent. Demand for 2BHK homes edged ahead of 3BHK and above due to price appreciation and higher borrowing costs. About 44 per cent of the online searches were for homes worth Rs 1 crore and above. However, demand for homes above Rs 3 crore dipped from the previous quarters.
