Homebuyer’s Guide To Bengaluru

Bengaluru has grown rapidly in the last few years in the wake of the boom in the IT and tech sectors. Now, the ever-expanding infrastructure has made this erstwhile retirement town the most sought-after destination for homebuyers. Location-wise, East Bengaluru has seen most of the new launches in 2022 (52 per cent), followed by North and South Bengaluru (24 and 20 per cent, respectively). Independent homes are the most preferred (40 per cent), followed by 2BHK units. In terms of price, the demand is high for units worth Rs 1 crore and above (40 per cent), while previously, this was largely concentrated in the Rs 30 lakh to Rs 1 crore segment. Whitefield remains the most popular destination for homebuyers, while Sarjapur, Sanjay Nagar and localities around Mysore Road feature high in search categories.
