Suryakant Sahu, Noida
Hybrid mutual funds are those in which the proportion of equity and debt assets varies as defined by the fund in its stated objective. Hybrid funds could have a higher equity or higher debt allocation, which are then categorised as equity-oriented or debt-oriented mutual funds. Hybrid funds could also have allocation to gold and follow a disciplined asset allocation plan in which the proportion of stated assets is rebalanced.
