I am investing Rs 5,000 through monthly SIP in PPFAS Long Term Value for long term wealth creation. Please advice if this is a good investment?

PPFAS Long Term Value Fund is an unusual equity funds, because it can invest up to 35 per cent of its portfolio in foreign securities. It can also take arbitrage positions if it find such opportunities, and if the prevailing market environment doesn’t provide other investment opportunities. This is also the AMC’s only fund offering. In its short history, the fund has put up a good show with its one-year returns at 16.97 per cent and three year returns at 13.06 per cent. If your investment time frame is beyond five years, investments in this fund are for you.
