The Shibarium network has surpassed the one million mark, the official Shibarium team announced in a blog post on September 3, 2023.

The Shibarium network, a layer-2 Blockchain developed by Shiba Inu, has seen a sharp increase in the number of wallets since its relaunch a few days back. About 900,000 wallets have been added since Shibarium’s relaunch on August 28, 2023. This was only two weeks after the Shibarium network first went up, albeit with some technical difficulties.

Apparently, the Shibarium network activity has soared despite the price of SHIB falling more than 20 per cent since the tumultuous launch of the layer-2 network.

As of 5:04 am UTC on September 3, 2023 nearly 100,000 transactions had been made, with a peak activity of 132,000 transactions on August 25, 2023, according to information from the Shibarium

Blockchain explorer. The total value locked (TVL) on the Shibarium network has not yet increased in response to the increase in network activity. Shibarium’s TVL is barely $1.06 million at the time of publication, indicating that users are only investing very little money on the network.

Stylus Is A Game Changer For EVMs, Says Arbitrum Founder

Arbitrum-building Off-chain Labs co-founder Ed Felten has said that the recently-launched Arbitrum Stylus could attract more programmers to Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM) to enhance its code, thus making it safer.

Felten praised the Arbitrum Stylus, a recently launched tool for Arbitrum developers which Off-chain published on a testnet on August 31, 2023, at the Korea Blockchain Week.

The Arbitrum Stylus lets programmers create Arbitrum apps by using languagesm such as Rust, C, and C++. According to Felten, the Arbitrum Stylus, will let non-Web 3.0 native developers “use the languages and the development tools that they're used to”.
