Ethereum rebounded to the $2,000-mark despite the volatility in the global crypto market and delays by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on its decision on Grayscale’s application for an Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF).
The global crypto market volume was up by 5.79 per cent to $70.20 billion on Wednesday.
Kaspa was the most trending cryptocurrency as well as the top gainer, up by 37.22 per cent to $0.1306. Its 24-hour trading volume was $$217 million. Lido DAO was the top loser, down by 4.89 per cent to $2.35. Its 24-hour trading volume was $139.8 million.
Decentralised finance (DeFi) accounted for 11.91 per cent of the total 24-hour volume at $8.36 billion. The overall volume of all stable coins is now $62.39 billion, accounting for 88.87 per cent of the total 24-hour volume of the crypto market.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was up by 4.21 per cent to $37,370.07. Its 24-hour trading volume was $28.45 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 51.02 per cent, up 0.30 per cent over the last 24 hours.
Ethereum: Ethereum was up by 2.58 per cent to $2,044.20 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $12.45 billion.
Tether: Tether was trading at $1, same as yesterday. Its 24-hour trading volume was $51.97 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Other Altcoins
Solana (SOL) was up by 10.88 per cent to $65.91. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.28 billion.
Avalanche was trading at $23.38, up by 23.36 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.90 billion.
Cardano ADA was up by 9.29 per cent to $0.397 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $610 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 8.06 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.07957.
Shiba Inu was up by 5.66 per cent to $0.000008948.

DeFi coin was trading at $0.001202, up by 0.43 per cent from yesterday.
