Crypto Market Slips To $1.25 Trillion As Bitcoin Down 0.75%, Ethereum Loses 2.30%

Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency, while Conflux CFX was the top gainer, and Mina (MINA) was the top loser

The cryptocurrency market fell 0.96 per cent to $1.25 trillion, while the total trading volume dropped by 25.31 per cent to $63.32 billion in the last 24 hours to Wednesday afternoon.

Bitcoin (BTC) was down by 0.75 per cent to $33,899.36 on Wednesday, although it was the most trending cryptocurrency. Its 24-hour trading volume was $32 billion.

However, BTC saw incredible gains this week, jumping by an impressive 10 per cent, taking it to an all-time high of $35,900 and creating a ripple effect throughout the cryptocurrency market, says Sathvik Vishwanath, CEO and co-founder of crypto firm Unocoin.

“Bitcoin mining companies Riot Blockchain and Marathon Digital Holdings have not only kept up with Bitcoin’s surge, they have outperformed it, posting gains of over 10 per cent and 12 per cent, respectively, on Wednesday. Coinbase, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange platform, was not far behind, with its shares up 7.33 per cent,” adds Vishwanath.

On Wednesday, Conflux (CFX) was the top gainer, up by 11.25 per cent to $0.1473 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $276 million. Mina (MINA) was the top loser, down by 10.86 per cent to $0.6447 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1 billion.

DeFi fell 8.67 per cent to $5.49 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.75 per cent to $33,899.36. Its 24-hour trading volume was $32 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 53.13 per cent, up by 0.17 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was down 2.30 per cent to $1,775.86 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $11.8 billion.

Tether: Tether was up by 0.00 per cent to $1.00 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $45 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was up by 0.53 per cent to $31.59. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.2 billion.

Avalanche was trading at $10.29, down 1.88 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $261 million.

Cardano (ADA) was down by 0.73 per cent to $0.2797 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $315,126,561.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 1.85 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.06553.

Shiba Inu was up by 1.86 per cent to $0.000007365.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.00109, down by 2.31 per cent.

Yearn.Finance was up by 3.15 per cent to $5,707.50 over the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour trading volume was $32.7 million.
