The global crypto market declined marginally on Friday. The total market cap was down by 0.12 per cent to $2.31 trillion, while the total trading volume was down by 12.91 per cent to $72.92 billion.

X Empire X was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 25.17 per cent to $0.0000808. Its 24-hour trading volume was $303.95 million. Elsewhere, Safe SAFE was the top gainer. It was up by 79.31 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $334.58 million. Mantra OM was the top loser. It was down by 9.55 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $21.61 million.

DeFi was down by 0.80 per cent to $4.07 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder & CEO, Unocoin said, "Bitcoin's price has fallen below critical support levels, trading around $66,540 amid increasing selling pressure. A break below the $67,000 pivot indicates heightened downside risks, with next support at $65,970. Investors are wary of regulatory developments and economic factors influencing the market. SEC Chair Gary Gensler marked Bitcoin's 16th anniversary, reaffirming the SEC’s commitment to stringent crypto regulations by 2025. Despite criticism, Gensler emphasized investor protection. Meanwhile, Tesla's recent transfer of 11,509 Bitcoins has calmed investor fears, as the company retains $780 million in Bitcoin across new wallets, according to Arkham Intelligence."

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was up by 0.72 per cent to $67,816.98. Its 24-hour trading volume was $30.27 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 57.5 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 2.07 per cent to $2,497.92 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $15.71 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9993. It was up by 0.05 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $55.69 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was up by 0.47 per cent to $173.73. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.38 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $26.26, down by 3.07 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $200.27 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 2.82 per cent to $0.3423 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $268.20 million.

Dogecoin DOGE was down by 0.06 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1407.

Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 1.26 per cent to $0.02049.

DeFi coin was trading at $0.02049, down by 2.43 per cent.
