Launched on August 28, 2014, this scheme provides universal banking access for every household in India through a bank or fixed-point Business Correspondent called Bank Mitra.
Under this scheme, any small borrower can take loans from banks, MFIs, and NBFCs for up to 10 lakh for non-corporate, non-farm small/micro enterprises.
