Easy Day Hikes In Himachal

1] Triund Day Hike- This is a day hike that rises from the scenic hill station of McLeodGanj in Himachal Pradesh. There are two routes to reach the meadow—one through Dharamkot and the other beginning near the Bhagsu Nag Temple, approximately a kilometre from the main town square.

2] Dharamkot Hike, Bhagsu Nag Waterfall Hike

On the way to Triund, one takes way through Dharamkot. This offers forest housing to a huge Buddhist stupa with Tibetan flags fluttering in the air. One can therefore enjoy the place. If one is looking for solace and quiet time to spend, Bhagsu Nag Waterfall is a good option. It is a few metres from Bhagsu Nag temple.

3] BijliMahadev Hike

This is a 3-km long hike that one can take in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The nearest town and airport is Bhuntar.

4] Serolsar Lake Hike

This is a brief trek of around five kilometres starting from Jalori Pass in Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh. The lake, located over 10,000 feet above sea level, is surrounded by a forest of pine and deodar trees and can be accessed via a forest trail originating from Jalori Pass. Near the lake, there is a temple dedicated to Budhi Nagin.
