The West Bengal government provides a monthly pension of Rs 1,000 to eligible senior citizens of the state.
The beneficiary must be of 60 years and above and from the economically weaker section of society, or, belong to the below poverty line (BPL) category.
The scheme excludes those receiving disability, widow, farmer, and other state or central government pension benefits.
The applicant must submit self-attested copies of Aadhaar, ration, voter ID card, an income certificate, spouse’s death certificate, bank details, along with a nomination form and a passport size photo.
The applicant must submit the filled form along with the relevant documents at the designated offices for processing.
