It is a special micro-credit scheme which was launched in 2020. It provides collateral-free working capital loans up to 10,000 to the street vendors.
7% interest subsidy is promised in this scheme.
It incentivizes the digital transactions with a cashback of up to 1,200 per year and a monthly- cash back of up to Rs.100 is given.
Under the scheme, a street vendor is defined as a person who is engaged in vending any article or food items, etc.
Street vendors with a Certificate of Vending / Identity Card issued by Urban Local Bodies are eligible for the scheme.
Aadhaar card, voter identity card, driving license, MNREGA card and PAN card are the documents required.
People with the certificates of vending can approach ULB/ Common service centres to get help for filling the form.
