Keep ready your KYC documents like Aadhaar, PAN card, photo, etc.
Carry the KYC documents to your bank branch or post office where you maintain the PPF account for verification.
Fill up the account transfer request form with all the details like the bank address where you want to transfer the account.
After checking the form, the bank where the PPF account is currently held will provide you with an acknowledgement receipt.
The bank will send the documents to the other bank where the customer has requested to transfer the account.
The new bank that receives the documents will verify them and notify the account holder.
The bank may ask you to verify your KYC documents and submit copies. In case of any change, you may have to fill out a fresh form.
It may take a month to complete all the formalities and get the account transferred.
