What is the significance of buying gold?

Sidhharrth S Kumaar said, “The significance of gold in astrology lies in its association with Lord Brihaspati, also known as Jupiter, who represents wisdom, creativity, and positivity in Vedic astrology. Gold, being a shiny yellow metal, symbolizes the qualities attributed to Brihaspati and is considered highly auspicious. Additionally, Lord Narayan, the Preserver in Hindu mythology, is said to favour the colour yellow, further enhancing the significance of gold in astrology. Accumulating gold is believed to attract positivity and prosperity into one's life, making it a revered form of investment and a symbol of immovable wealth associated with the goddess Lakshmi.”

Understanding the Subh Muhurat to Buy Gold Online or Offline:

In today's digital age, where both online and offline purchases of gold are preferred, it's important to understand the concept of "muhurat." Whether purchasing online or offline, the muhurat primarily applies to the moment of making the payment, said Kumaar.

Kumaar said that for online transactions, where delivery times may vary, it's advisable to consider the muhurat at the time of placing the prepaid order or making the payment. This ensures that the auspicious timing aligns with the actual acquisition of the gold. In the case of cash on delivery, the muhurat can be applied to the date of receipt of the product.

“So, if you are planning to buy gold online, this Akshay Tritiya will place the order and pay for the same on May 10th; however, the product may be delivered to you later. When opting for COD, you need to order it early, expecting delivery on May 10th, so that you can make the payment in the shubh muhurat,” Sidhharrth S Kumaar added.

Akshaya Tritiya serves as a reminder of the timeless significance of gold in Hindu culture and the belief in its ability to bring prosperity and abundance. Beyond its cultural and astrological importance, purchasing gold on this auspicious day offers numerous investment benefits. By understanding the significance of Akshaya Tritiya and considering essential factors while buying gold, you can make meaningful investments that transcend generations, symbolizing wealth and enduring prosperity.
