You are facing an unfortunate situation. The policy claim on this loss depends on the cause of seepage. If the seepage is the outcome of bursting or overflowing of overhead water tanks, apparatus and pipes, it will stand covered under the standard fire and allied perils policy. But if it is due to a construction defect, it will not be covered. Do get a sense on the cause of the seepage and you will get a sense on whether the policy will pay for it or not.
