It is unfortunate that you were unable to withdraw money from the ATM and had to undergo the trauma of being cashless when you needed it. In such cases it is best to first take a mini statement or statement reflecting the debit as proof with you. Inform the bank by calling up the call center and inform them of the incident. Take the complaint/reference number and, if possible, share your mobile number, if not already registered to receive the complaint reference. It usually takes around four working days for the money to be credited into your account. The bank will alert you about the credited amount by SMS. Do not worry; the money will be credited back to your account. Sometimes, the reversal of transaction happens instantly too.
