Since I have no dependents, which health insurance should I take?

There are policies available that cater to diabetics, which do have restrictions on what it covers and excludes

I will be retiring in 2019 and have no dependents. What health insurance do you suggest I take? I am diabetic, which is under control with medication and no insulin.

It appears that you will be on your own during retirement; you need to ensure that you have created an income stream, which could be through an annuity or a systematic withdrawal which could be set on your retirement savings corpus. As for health insurance, there are policies available that cater to diabetics, which do have restrictions and limitations on what it covers and what it excludes. You should take a health insurance policy right away, as it appears that you do not have one at the moment.
