Do life insurers have a terror cover option too?

Life insurance policies usually provide cover to the insured against death by any means, including terror attacks, unless this peril is specifically excluded in the policy. At present, there is no stand-alone life insurance policy for terror attacks. Specific compensation for death due to a terrorist attack is provided only in personal accident policies. With terrorism now touching daily life, some private insurance companies are in the process of developing such covers. It is better, however, to go for a comprehensive life insurance policy which provides cover against all kinds of unforeseen mishap.
