The global crypto market was trading in the red on Monday as many cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), recorded losses. Aptos (APT) was the most trending crypto today.
The crypto market was down 1.71 per cent to $1.05 trillion, according to data on Coinmarketcap.com at 6:30 PM IST. The overall trading volume rose by 34.02 per cent to $56.29 billion.
Mina (MINA) was the top gainer of the day with an increase of 19.05 per cent, while Trust Wallet Token (TWT) was the top loser with a total drop of 8.90 per cent in price.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC dropped 1.67 per cent to $23,096.18. BTC’s trading volume was up by 32.33 per cent to $27.4 billion. BTC was gaining initially but started dropping around 2:30 pm, leading to the red zone. Its intraday prices fluctuated between $23,597 and $23,069 with $23,848 being its highest price over the last 24 hours. BTC’s dominance is currently 42.5 per cent.
Ethereum: ETH’s momentum was similar to that of BTC, and it was also trading in red with loss. It was down by 2.22 per cent to $1,580.15. Its price fluctuated between $1,620 and $1,582. Its trading volume was up by 27.68 per cent to $9.24 billion.
Other Altcoins
SOL’s price was down by 1.46 per cent to $24.25.
Ripple (XRP) dropped by 2.85 per cent to $0.4009, and its 24-hour trading volume was up by 124.27 per cent to $1.05 billion.
Cardano (ADA) was down by 2.68 per cent to $0.3804. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was up by 41.44 per cent to $379.6 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 4.23 per cent to $0.08623. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 46.08 per cent to $541.6 million.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) fell 3.61 per cent to $0.00001164.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) was down by 3.53 per cent to $7,388.08. Its 24-hour trading volume escalated by 15.25 per cent to $29.3 million.
Aave (AAVE) was down by 5.79 per cent to $82.39, and its 24-hour trading volume was up by 5.30 per cent to $87.5 million.
Avalanche (AVAX) fell 3.29 per cent to $20.04. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 10.33 per cent to $522.4 million.
