Crypto Price Update: Bitcoin Loses 2.95%, Ethereum Down 3.29%

The global cryptocurrency market cap fell by 2.64 per cent to $1.10 trillion in the last 24 hours and the trading volume fell by 23.52 per cent to $38.31 billion on Friday morning.

Pepe PEPE was the most trending cryptocurrency as well as the top loser, down by 36.52 per cent to $0.000001164 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $696.41 million.

Gemini Dollar GUSD was the top gainer, up by 0.47 per cent to $0.9998 over the previous day. Its 24 hour trading volume was $696,792.

DeFi fell 6.86 per cent to $2.63 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin’s price decreased by 2.95 per cent to $26,675.36. Its 24-hour trading volume was $17.02 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance stood at 46.80, down by 0.05 per cent over the previous day.

Ethereum: Ethereum’s price fell by 3.29 per cent to $1,768.45. Its 24-hour trading volume was $8.51 billion.

Tether: Tether decreased by 0.02 per cent to $1 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $26.61 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana’s (SOL) price fell by 2.80 per cent to $20.05 in the last 24 hours.

Avalanche traded at $14.74, down by 4.19 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume stood at $146.14 million.

Cardano (ADA) fell by 2.14 per cent to $0.3579. It was ranked seventh, with a 24-hour trading volume of $244.10 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) fell by 2.35 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.07094.

Shiba Inu decreased by 3.12 per cent to $0.000008586.

DeFi coin was trading at $0.0163, down by 22.01 per cent over the previous day
