The crypto market gained marginally on the opening day of the last week of October 2023 after remaining volatile for the greater part of the month. The global crypto market cap was up by 0.38 per cent to $1.26 trillion on Monday, while the total trading volume was up by 26.29 per cent to $29.3 billion.
Polygon MATIC was the most trending cryptocurrency, up by 0.94 per cent to $0.6307. Its 24-hour trading volume was $171.56 million. Axie Infinity AXS was the top gainer, up by 16.21 per cent to $5.83 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $260.45 million. Stacks STX was the top loser, down by 3.56 per cent to $0.6299 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $79.14 million.
DeFi fell 9.66 per cent to $2.83 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 52.94 per cent, down by 0.02 per cent over the last 24 hours.
Ethereum: Ethereum was up 0.30 per cent to $1,792.13 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.05 billion.
Tether: Tether was up by 0.01 per cent to $1 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $20.75 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Solana (SOL) was up by 1.64 per cent to $32.88. Its 24-hour trading volume was $550.82 million.
Avalanche was trading at $11.19, up by 1.52 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $167.73 million.
Cardano ADA was up by 0.37 per cent to $0.2947 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $159.16 million.
Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 0.22 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.0687.
Shiba Inu was down by 1.92 per cent to $0.000007904.
DeFi coin was trading at $0.04604, same as yesterday.
Yearn.Finance was up by 3.45 per cent to $5,892.49 over the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour trading volume was $29.41 million.
