Crypto Market Gains Marginally, Trading Volume Rises 6.82%; Bitcoin, Ethereum Up

The global crypto market gained marginally on Wednesday. The total market cap was up by 1.55 per cent to $2.47 trillion, while the total trading volume was up by 6.82 per cent to $72.22 billion. Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 0.97 per cent to $67,044.88. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.27 billion. Hedera HBAR was the top gainer. It was up by 63.54 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $33.04 million. Beam BEAM was the top loser. It was down by 7.98 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $378.99 million.

DeFi was up by 1.00 per cent to $5.63 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Rajagopal Menon, VP, WazirX stated, "Bitcoin exceeded the $66,000 mark, briefly touching $67k before facing resistance at the same level, with $65,000 serving as robust support. Surpassing $67,000 could pave the way for a surge towards $68,000 and potentially $70,000. While the crypto market appears on a steady course post-halving, Bitcoin's linear rise may be interrupted by corrections."

He further commented, "Solana (SOL) has breached its $150 barrier, hinting at a forthcoming rally with eyes set on $161. High trading volumes support SOL's recovery, with a breakthrough at $161 promising significant gains."

In addition, He mentioned, "Despite regulatory hurdles, XRP sustains its momentum amid the SEC legal battle. Institutional investors and major holders continue to drive trading activity and price appreciation for the token."

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was up by 0.97 per cent to $67,044.88. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.27 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 53.4 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 2.75 per cent to $3,270.15 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $11.33 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 16.1 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was up by 0.06 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $51.30 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was up by 2.90 per cent to $159.17. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.95 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $39.78, up by 0.74 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $387.72 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 0.47 per cent to $0.5059 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $406.43 million.

Dogecoin DOGE was up by 3.12 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1625.

Shiba Inu SHIB was up by 4.02 per cent to $0.00002719.
