Crypto Market Gains Marginally Even As Trading Volume Falls 31.64%

The global cryptocurrency market gained marginally on Thursday after a dip yesterday. The total market cap was up by 0.54 per cent to $1.09 trillion, even as the total trading volume was down by 31.64 per cent to $24.25 billion.

Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency, up by 0.99 per cent to $27,641.33. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.41 billion. Trust Wallet Token TWT was the top gainer, up by 16.01 per cent to $0.9172 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $184.57 million. Toncoin TON was the top loser, down by 2.98 per cent to $1.96 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $14.25 million.

DeFi fell 10.61 per cent to $2.57 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was up by 0.99 per cent to $27,641.33. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.41 billion.  

It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 49.65 per cent, up by 0.18 per cent in the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was up 0.04 per cent to $1,638.37 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.56 billion.

Tether: Tether was trading at $1, same as yesterday. Its 24-hour trading volume was $17.89 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was up by 0.86 per cent to $23.12. Its 24-hour trading volume was $388.20 million.

Avalanche was trading at $10.04, up by 4.91 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $206.09 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 0.76 per cent to $0.2581 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $104.24 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 0.16 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.06101.

Shiba Inu was up by 0.57 per cent to $0.000007238.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.0006844, down by 0.45 per cent.

Yearn.Finance was up by 2.04 per cent to $5,282.96 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $15.33 million.
