Crypto Market Gains Marginally Even As Trading Volume Drops 27.49%

The global crypto market gained marginally on the last day of the week. The total market cap was up by 0.20 per cent to $1.4 trillion on Saturday, while the total trading volume was down by 27.49 per cent to $69.19 billion.

Solana SOL was the most trending cryptocurrency, up by 16.96 per cent to $54.99. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.03 billion. FTX Token FTT was the top gainer, up by 61.36 per cent to $4.37 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $848.17 million. Kaspa KAS was the top loser, down by 9.54 to $0.08769. Its 24-hour trading volume was $73.11 million.

DeFi fell 10.71 per cent to $7.41 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was up by 0.75 per cent to $37,048.10. Its 24-hour trading volume was $22.35 billion.

It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 51.57 per cent, up by 0.37 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was down 3.80 per cent to $2,047.67 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $14.26 billion.

Tether: Tether was down by 0.03 per cent to $1 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $50.78 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Solana (SOL) was up by 6.51 per cent to $54.99. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.03 billion.

Avalanche was trading at $14.15, up by 5.45 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $622.97 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 0.01 per cent to $0.374 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $565.36 million.
