Crypto Market Dips Marginally Even As Trading Volume Declines; Bitcoin, Ethereum Down

The global crypto market declines marginally on Tuesday. The total market cap was down by 0.46 per cent to $2.32 trillion, even as the total trading volume was up by 1.32 per cent to $60.48 billion. Super Trump STRUMP was the most trending. It was down by 6.90 per cent to $0.01083. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.46 million. Bonk BONK was the top gainer. It was up by 10.25 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $344.72 million. Starknet STRK was the top loser. It was down by 6.33 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $43.44 million.

DeFi was down by 0.96 per cent to $3.88 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Rajagopal Menon, VP, WazirX said, "Bitcoin has surged 0.55% today, retaining its level above the $63,000 threshold. This critical $63-64k zone, if held, could signal a new bullish phase for the cryptocurrency. Riding this wave of optimism, Bitcoin has now set its sights on the $64,000 level."

He further mentioned, "Technical indicators for Bitcoin present a mixed outlook. However, there is optimism yet as it’s anticipated that miners are done with their sell off phase. "

He added, "Toncoin is defying the broader cryptocurrency market downturn, continuing its upward trajectory thanks to a robust ecosystem supported by Telegram, one of the world's largest messaging platforms."

Currently trading around $7.81, Toncoin shows strong technical performance, with key moving averages indicating a sustained bullish trend.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 0.63 per cent to $62,948.45. Its 24-hour trading volume was $21.79 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 53.5 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 0.89 per cent to $3,453.76 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.45 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 17.9 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9988. It was up by 0.00 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $40.95 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was up by 0.63 per cent to $148.82. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.71 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $28.44, down by 4.44 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $283.05 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 2.49 per cent to $0.4077 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $242.29 million.

Dogecoin DOGE was down by 2.23 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1237.

Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 1.10 per cent to $0.00001719.
